Mason Jennings Sends Up "Boneclouds"

Glacial Pace Recordings/Epic Records is excited to announce the release date for Mason Jennings' new album Boneclouds on May 16th. Produced by Noah Georgeson (Joanna Newsom, Devandra Banhart) and Mason, the 10 tracks on Boneclouds finds Jennings forging new musical ground from his raw, searing rockers to his inventive sonic accents of ancient folk. The acclaimed singer/songwriter, who has sold over 100,000 records to date, recently finished shooting the video to his first single, "Be Here Now" and is planning a full band tour this summer.

The uplifting and beautiful album opener "Be Here Now" will hit the airwaves this spring. Jennings recently shot the single's video with emerging video director Cat Solen in Los Angeles. Solen is known for her groundbreaking videos for Bright Eye's "Bowl of Oranges" as well his most recent "At the Bottom of Everything," and the new website-only Death Cab For Cutie video for "Soul Meets Body."

Mason signed with Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock's Epic Records imprint Glacial Pace Recordings last fall after successfully releasing four studio albums independently under Architect Records. The new album was recorded in Minneapolis with sessions that included Chris Morrissey on bass and Dave King (The Bad Plus, Happy Apple) on drums.

Having recently wrapped his spring tour, Jennings will be hitting the road again with a full band starting in June:
