The Oscar race is on, and there are only a few days left before the big night where all of Hollywood's biggest stars come together to honor the greatest talent in their industry. Bloggers, fans, websites and magazines have their predictions for who will be the big winners – but Static Multimedia decided to go to someone who really knows the celebrity world inside and out, Belinda Bentley.

Belinda is quickly becoming known as the psychic of the stars, and has been featured in all types of media worldwide. She has also worked closely with celebrities including Dave Navarro, for which she has been coined as his "house psychic." We asked Belinda to tell us who she thinks is going to win, and how she is coming up with her predictions for Oscar night 2008.

Tell us about how you are making your predictions for the biggest night in Hollywood.

Belinda Bentley: For the Oscars, I really went with whose names stood out in my mind. While I was doing my predictions, I noticed I was picking up on Oscars from recent years so I was trying to keep it to 2008.

Have you done predictions for the Oscars in past years?

I have, but I usually I have someone calling me on the phone and giving me a list of names. This is one of the first times I have done it myself. It will be fun to see who will win! When I watch the Oscars and something off the wall, or heart warming happens, it is just as much a surprise to me as it is for every other viewer at home.

If I were to attend the Oscars and sit among the people there, I would be able to have clear visions like in ten minutes someone would trip on their dress, and see how relieved they would be that the cameras didn't catch it. Maybe next year! Being psychic is very much about being in the moment and feeling things. It is tough to do when watching things on TV.

Who do you think will be some of the big winners?

I think that Laura Linney is going to win for Best Actress. She is phenomenal. And for supporting actress, I am seeing Cate Blanchett. She is another great actress.

What about best actor?

I think that everyone thinks Daniel Day-Lewis will win, but for some reason Johnny Depp's name is jumping out at me. I think he deserves it and may be an unexpected winner. For the supporting actor category, I am seeing Tom Wilkinson.

Which film will win for best picture?

Atonement.

What about best costume design?

For this one, I am seeing Across the Universe. The colors in this movie were extraordinary. I am seeing light all around this one.

Best Score/Soundtrack?

The Kite Runner. This movie was a sleeper hit. Not enough people know about it and the soundtrack is amazing, and very unique.

Who is going to have the worst acceptance speech?

It will no doubt be whoever wins the best director category. I think it could be the Coens.

Who is going to be the most pissed off loser?

Viggo Mortensen will be. He knows he deserves to win!

Who will be the best dressed at the show?

Cate Blanchett will be best dressed at Oscars. With her, I always see visions of beauty and grace.

And the worst dressed?

Marion Cotillard

What will be the biggest paparazzi moment?

Well, hopefully Britney Spears will show up! That is a paparazzo's dream!
