It's a trap
Horror movie buffs will be thrilled (no pun intended) to learn that another addition to grizzly Saw series will be released on October 26, 2007.

The film begins with two new characters, Agents Straham and Perez, who investigate the murder of Detective Kerry, whos untimely and infamous ironic death occurred at the end of Saw III. Although Jigsaw and his apprentice Amanda are also dead, the disappearance of an officer rings familiar to those who were witness to Jigsaw's twisted games. Someone has taken over the Jigsaw dynasty, revealing the madness behind his intentions and plans for future victims, in Saw IV.

Tobin Bell will reemerge as Jigsaw in what can only be expected as a flashback, as well as upcoming stars: Scott Patterson, Betsey Russell, Costas Mandylor and Athena Karkanis.

Because of the box office success of the past Saw films as well as the growing amount of violence and gore that the films produce, one can predict that Saw IV will be a big hit. While Saw II did not sit so well with critics and audiences, at least compared to the original, Saw III satisfied viewers in terms of graphics and storyline. One can only imagine what director Darren Lynn Bousman will bring about in his fourth installment of the Saw franchise, and I personally cannot wait to be shaking in my seat October 26. Rumor has it that Saw V and VI are already in the works, so don't expect the Saw madness to die anytime soon (pun intended).
