Igor is Alive September 19

It’s alive! This fall, The Weinstein Company will bring an electrocuting new light to the mad scientist and classic monster genre with their animated film, Igor.

 

In the land of Malaria, mad scientists dominate society and each scientist has his own Igor to pull the switch. One Igor wants to do more than pull the switch. When he decides to enter the annual Evil Science Fair, the mad scientists will do anything to stop him from winning. He will have to follow his dreams and persevere as obstacles come his way.

 

John Cusack voices Igor. The cast also includes Eddie Izzard, Jay Leno, John Cleese, Jennifer Coolidge (who played Paulette in Legally Blonde), and Molly Shannon. Anthony Leondis, director of Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch has a Glitch, directs and the script is written by Chris McKenna, who has written episodes for American Dad.

 

Igor comes alive in theaters September 19^th.
