This will not come as a surprise to most of you, but as a Disney Channel Original Series, Cory in the House is not a well done television show. The stories lack an enticing plot and the entire package just doesn't seem to click. Filled with corny jokes that get real old, real fast, Cory will make you want to avert your eyes.

As a spin off of another Disney Channel series, That's So Raven, Cory and his dad move to the White House when Dad becomes the new Executive Chef. The DVD includes 3 of the fans "favorite" episodes and one that has never been seen before. Each episode has its own plot line, so there is no recurring story in each episode, which makes each show watchable for those that have never seen the series.

The actors are somewhat likable, especially Cory, but not enough to make a necessary improvement on the show. However, the history of the White House is playfully included in every episode, with Cory always using it to his advantage to impress a girl.

There is actually a really cool bonus feature included on the DVD. It is a behind the scenes look at making an episode of Cory in the House, from beginning to end. It takes the viewer from the writing room, to the cold read, to the presentation of the episode in front of a live audience.

As a television show aimed at children between the ages of 5 and 12, I'm sure that Cory gets the job done, but for High School students and older it fails. The DVD comes with 4 episodes and the Behind the Scenes bonus feature.
