If you're looking for drama, tears and a couple of laughs, then Girlfriends - The Third Season is definitely what should be in your DVD player. Experience everything from divorce, botox and one night stands. Although these episodes were aired in 2002 and 2003, the topics that arise in season three never get old.

Joan is the peace maker that wants everything to be okay when an issue is brought to the table and makes her living as a lawyer. Maya, who works as Joan's secretary, doesn't mind stepping on anyone's toes if it has to do with her marriage or her child. Toni Childs, who specializes in results, works as a realtor and is crazy about money. She's determined to find a man who meets her needs finance wise. Lynn is the friend that all the girls love to hate. She mooches off each and every one of them and refuses to get a job. She depends on her girlfriends to support her, although she has more degrees then all three girls put together.

Although Joan is the single one that cannot seem to keep a man, that does not stop her at all during Season Three. At the beginning of the season she decides to give up men and focus on training for a marathon. Then she meets a TV star that sweeps her off her feet and changes her mind about men. Joan's jealousy shines through when everything falls down with her boyfriend and it seems as if everyone is doing well and moving on with their lives, but she is left behind, repeating the same mistakes that she has in the past.

Maya is stuck in Joan's house as she tries to work things out with her husband Darnell. They are separated because Maya kissed her colleague and Darnell found out about which resulted in their separation. Searching for answers and seeking a consular, Maya tries to mend her marriage she is slowly realizing how much the separation is hurting her son and Joan's wallet because she is living with her until things settle down. Lynn, the moocher is still trying to find herself even after staying in college forever. Going from job to job, to being delinquent in school loans and sleeping around with different guys, the girls try to encourage her to use her degrees and make a living on her own. Lynn's parents encourage her to pay off her loans because they cannot open the bed and breakfast that they have always dreamed of. Lynn tries to get on her feet to pay her debts but constantly gets distracted by her love of music and men.

Toni is the definition of drama. After looking for a man for so long she finds what she is looking for in the dentist office. Although she was expecting tall, dark and handsome, instead she got short, Caucasian and funny looking. She was able to look past that and love him for who he is. But Toni worries that Todd may have only fall in love with her because she is African American.

Not only do the women have their problems, William has his too. He can't seem to find a woman to meet his needs until Joan challenges him to ask a random woman for a one night stand. Little did he know what kind of relationship that would bring about. William and Joan happen to work at the same firm and together they compete to show their boss who is best. Looking for love in all the wrong places, William gets involved with someone from the firm and Joan finds out and this puts a strain on Joan and William's relationship. Trying to find the right love and work path, William never gives up even though his best friend and business partner Joan may not agree with everything he does. Does this sound like enough excitement for you? Enjoy being a fly on the wall with eight drama filled hours of girlfriends with season three on DVD.
