One of my truly favorite TV shows to watch as a kid was Mutual Of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Host Marlin Perkins always reminded me of Walt Disney, and to a kid in the 70s, that was pretty cool.

But that kid has grown up now, still curious about the world and its unique and bizarre ways. For me, as well as any other big kid out there, MTV offers up the Wildboyz, starring former Jackasses, Chris Pontius and Steve-O.

Each week the boys, along with predatory-animal expert Manny Puig (the pair's Peter Gros or Jim Fowler; both former second bananas to Perkins on Wild Kingdom) go out in search of the strange, wild, inane, and oftentimes spectacular aspects of a country's culture and civilization.

If the Indian foot licking doesn't make you retch, the elephant shitting and pissing on Steve-O certainly will. But that's the beauty of Wildboyz, it makes you laugh and vomit.
