Well hello again almighty video game players and connoisseurs, time for yet another rip-roaring video game review. Wait what… Not a video game review? Then what the heck am I doing… oh it’s a strategy guide. Hmm well then lets get out the spectacles, and see what the heck this big ass book is all about.

Well after spending many years playing a lot of the games in the Enemy Territory series, I personally would have never picked this guide up, but I am glad that it was given to me. Due to the fact that now, I know of a few techniques that I could have utilized in past games that would have been very beneficial to myself and to the avatar that represented me on screen.

That being said let us talk about the book itself – it’s 256 pages, which was intimidating at first when I was told I had to read the whole thing. But it was a breeze; the detail in which the book goes over every aspect of the game was amazing. It covers why and where exactly the game takes place. It covers the two adversaries in whom you can represent in game, why they are fighting and what exactly you are using to stop either side. The book also covers what task you can do for XP and which jobs yield what XP. That maps are covered in succinct detail, which can be very useful to the common noob or maybe even the hardcore power - gamer. After reading the book I found more unused hiding spots than anybody online, which led to many well-deserved frags. BOO YAH! It actually gives you many tactics that you can use to further your advancement as a player in the game, I seriously felt that after reading the book my ability in the game increased by at least 15 – 20 %. This can be translated to many gamers (noob to power – gamers), of this I am sure.

Do I feel this book is a necessary buy? No. Do I think it’s a useful buy? Yes. Like I said in the very beginning I would have never have picked this book up on my own, but after reading it I feel that I may get some more of these Brady Games books in the future.
