Infected Mushroom explore the psychedelia of trance music prominent in the Middle Eastern dance realm.
What was the worst show you ever played, and why?

Erez Aizen: It was in Germany, we arrived straight from the airport to the event and there was no equipment at all! No keyboards, no mic, no mixing desk...nothing at all. So we just pressed play on a backup cd that we had. Every one saw that it wasn't a live show and you can imagin how we felt. Nobody from the crowed cares whose fault it is. So for us it was a really shitty party.

What can fans expect to get at one of your gigs that they couldn't necessarily get on your album?

Erez Aizen: Well, half of our live show is totally new unreleased music. The tracks that we play from the album are usually in a special live mix that we prepare to each tour. And of course the live part which is live keyboard, singing and our new guitar player "Erez Netz" eating the guitar on stage.

What was your first live performance like?

Erez Aizen: It was long long ago at 1996, it was in a shitty pub in the north of Israel, it was the good old days. Trance was really new then in our home town, so it really had the underground feeling.

Name something non-musical (e.g. book, person, building, animal) that has inspired or influenced you.

Erez Aizen: Well hard to say...maybe my dog "Albert"...and Israeli/Arabic food.

Amit Duvdevani: Marlboros and beer.

Do you download music without paying for it?

Erez Aizen: No, we get a lot of CDs for free from our record labels, and actually we like the act of going to a record shop and listening to new stuff and buying CDs.

What one thing must you have on tour with you...?

Amit Duvdevani: Cigarettes.

Erez Aizen: Laptop.

Favorite fast food menu item...?

Erez Aizen: Well, today in the USA it's different, so...In 'N Out Burger (double, double).

What was your first rock and roll record?

Erez Aizen: More rock less roll, Metallica - Ride The Lightining.

Amit Duvdevani: Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon.
