HIM's Uneasy Listening Vol. 2 is something that's better appreciated by a tried-and-true fan. This is the second remix album released by HIM, and it focuses on the band's darker, heavier material, whereas Vol. 1 showcased their sappier offerings. While the mixes have turned the band's driving crowd pleasers into something entirely danceable, it's not without the knowledge of the original that they can truly be appreciated. Aside from the remixes not being anywhere near as well-arranged as the originals, in many places the vocals are too low and the guitars too overpowering. The price of the album is worth the cover of Turbonegro's "Rendezvous with Anus" alone, though, and it has the much sought-after 616 remix of "Buried Alive by Love," previously only found on CKY4. Worth buying just to complete the HIM collection, but not worth if you're not a die-hard fan.
