Strike Anywhere has taken political ideology, personal experience, 70s punk, and hardcore and wrapped it up into on little package on Dead FM. The energy of the album is infectious and involves a great deal of raw emotion. The tracks themselves are not that long (the longest track "Ballad of Bloody Rain" is only 3:01), but each song clearly illustrates a point or an experience. The guitars and drums are driving. Dead FM is one of those albums that puts a new slant on an old genre. It brings back a classic punk and hardcore sound that has been missing from popular music, giving it a new twist.
