New Inspirational Book Encouraging Women

The new book Know Your Power: A Message to America’s Daughters by Nancy Pelosi is due out on July 29. The book is an inspirational encouragement to women. Pelosi, who was the first female Speaker of the House, has written this book because of what she feels to be a compulsion to help women to find and use their voice. Her idea is a noble one and her book full of inspiration for the women who have come to her for help throughout the years.

In the preface of the book, Pelosi gives her purpose: “I find it humbling and deeply moving when women and girls approach me, looking for insight and advice. If women can learn from me, in the same way I learned from the women who came before me, it will make the honor of being Speaker of the House even more meaningful.”
