The Reader’s Digest is reportedly going to be ending their 19 year old line of nonfiction books, Today’s Best Nonfiction or TBN. February 2009 will be the final release. The line, which originally opened to promote reading of nonfiction books has released abridged copies of books from the likes of Colin Powell, Stephen Ambrose, Christopher Reeve, and Walter Isaacson.
The line is being let go due to an increase in Internet publicity and electronic sales of nonfiction literature. The company claims that their other lines are not suffering.
